As a street food manager, you’ll have responsibility for the financial success of your outlet, as well as managing staff, keeping customers happy and adhering to health and safety mandates.
Your objective: is to ensure that the street food hut delivers high-quality food and drinks as well as great customer service. You will have to manage and oversee all processes and systems across the street food hut which includes, but is not limited to, stock control, transportation of goods, kitchen assistance and marketing activities.
Responsibilities will also include organising stock and equipment, ordering supplies from the kitchen and overseeing hut maintenance and cleanliness.
You will coordinate staff scheduling and rotas, ensure standards of hygiene as well as high standards of customer service are maintained.
Experience of managing and leading a team is needed.
Other qualities that will be required are excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage several pieces of work at once, to work under pressure and excellent people skills – able to work well with staff and customers.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills. They should have the ability to lead and motivate a team, good organisational skills, enthusiasm and the ability to learn quickly.
