Restaurant manager / Managing partner

This role implies overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through upkeep of the highest restaurant standards, managing staff, and maintaining financial efficiency.

Your objective: is to ensure that all staff members perform their roles effectively and that the restaurant meets its operational goals. In daily operations, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the restaurant, which includes overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. You will also be actively participating in waiter/host positions, greeting and communicating with guests and being the face of the restaurant. Ensuring a unique guest experience is a critical part of the role. The manager monitors customer interactions, addresses complaints, and resolves issues to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities also include training new employees and creating staff schedules. The manager fosters a positive work environment and ensures that all team members are motivated and perform well.

You will be relied upon to monitor daily sales, control operating costs, and manage tip sharing.

Keeping track of food, beverage, and supply inventory is essential. In collaboration with the Chef/Shift manager and bartender, you will place orders and manage deliveries to ensure the restaurant is well stocked without overspending or waste.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and excellent communication skills. They should be able to adapt quickly when resolving issues that arise during daily operations. Effective time management and organizational skills are crucial for juggling multiple responsibilities. Knowledge of the Croatian language is an advantage.
